Mustafa Faik Tümer works as an R&D and operation engineer in SASA Polyester San. A.Ş., Adana, Turkey. As a cost improvement project organizer at SASA, he led various projects. These projects include increasing PBT production capacity, optimization of chemical washing times of reactors, transition of polyester production from DMT-based to PTA-based synthesis. Prior to SASA, he conducted his Master’s studies on organo catalytica symmetric synthesis at Middle East Technical University, Ankara-Turkey where he received as well his BS degree. He currently is carrying out research on the production of various PET based materials.
