Tomoya Uyama is a first-year Master's student at Tokyo University of Science, specializing in materials engineering with a focus on composite materials and vitrimers. His current research is centered on the self-healing properties of vitrimers through the use of molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. By employing MD simulation techniques, he investigates how disulfide bonds in vitrimers facilitate reversible bond exchange reactions, thereby enabling self-healing mechanisms.
